Portugal international keeper Eduardo Carvalho has returned to Braga on loan from Genoa, three years after leaving the Estadio AXA.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper began his career at the Primeira Liga club, coming through the ranks before making the move to Genoa in 2010.
He has also won 30 caps for his country, having been a part of their 2010 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2012 campaigns.
After being enticed to Italy, Eduardo played in just one season for Genoa before embarking on loan spells which saw him feature for Benfica and Istanbul BBSK.
He played 33 times for the Turkish side in the Super Lig last term and will be looking to regain a first-team place when he returns to his native land next season.
Braga, who finished fourth in the Primeira Liga in their last campaign, will play against Premier League side Norwich City at home as part of their pre-season preparations on August 2.
